Dr. Michelle Cohen has helped individuals, couples, co-workers,
businesses and families create positive life changes for 17 years. Her specialties include helping people with relationship problems, communication skills, stress and depression, painful past experiences and self esteem. Dr. Cohen currently has a private practice office in West Los Angeles. She has worked in individual, as well as clinical and hospital settings, which include helping adults, adolescents, couples and families, at "A Touch of Care," residential and outpatient psychological clinic. Dr. Cohen has also helped patients and co-workers with individual psychotherapy at the "Meadowbrook Manor" locked psychiatric facility, and at Northridge Hospital's "First Step" program, where she helped adolescents and families with better communication skills in her group therapy sessions. Dr. Michelle Cohen is currently the Psychological Expert on her own talk show on LA TalkRadio,"On The Couch With Dr. Michelle." Along with helping listeners to learn about themselves and gain personal insights, Dr. Cohen also interviews fascinating self-help authors, inspirational speakers, psychologists, doctors, and other experts to help listeners. As an expert in understanding relationship issues, communication, body language techniques and criminal profiling, Dr. Michelle Cohen also provides training videos for the Los Angeles Department of Community Services. Her, video series entitled "Understanding Body Language," has gone viral on E-How.com and YouTube. She is also a recurring on air contributor to the morning show on K-EARTH 101, and has been featured as a Body Lanuage Expert on Entertainment Tonight. Dr. Michelle is also a regular psychological columnist for three Valley News Group newspapers.
Dr. Cohen is a full member of the American Psychological Association, The California Psychological Association, The Los AngelesCounty Psychological Association and a lifetime member of the National Honor Society in Psychology. She graduated Magna cum Laude in her Doctorateand in her Master’s program at PepperdineUniversity.
